HELP DESK – FOSS/SOFTWARE CENTRAL
Issue, allocate and verify license entitlements for software products. Verify and validate software manufacturer, name, and version information. Review all software licensing agreements for software download from the internet. Create, update and edit Software Model Records. Perform software importation on commercial non-DoD systems. Address and respond to customer questions related to software licensing. Enforcement of Policy 6-10, Software Asset Management.
Must meet contract level requirements for appropriate position. In addition, 1 year of experience with background in Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Word, and Excel is a plus. Experience in ticket management system like Remedy is a plus. Unix experience is not required, but is a plus.
Immediate long term position. (Day shift - any shift between 6am and 6pm, Monday thru Friday)
