Digital Services - Unified Communications (VOIP/VTC) Engineer

As a Unified Communications Engineer you will be trusted to work on VoIP and VTC and other Communication tools across the client environment. In this role, a typical day will include:

Collaborating with internal and external clients to solve and maintain multiple internal communication platforms

Responsible for the architecture, configuration, and maintenance of worldwide Voice, Video, and Chat, physical and virtual infrastructure

Responsible for the installation of operating system and security patches

Responsible for assessing the applicability of vulnerabilities and maintain security compliance of the Voice, Video, and Chat infrastructure

Provide support for customer scheduled and unplanned outages, regardless of scale and impact

Serves as escalation support for Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians across all communication platforms

Must meet contract level requirements for appropriate position.  Qualifications:
2 years experience supporting and troubleshooting Communication services in Government environment preferred

Strong back ground with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Meeting Server, Unified Contact Center, and/or Microsoft Skype for Business

Experience managing virtualized applications or have knowledge of how to manage virtualized applications

Experience with Session Border Controller (SBC) and SIP detailed traces is a plus

Prior ticketing experience, such as ServiceNow is highly preferred

Day Shift - Any shift between 6am and 6pm (Monday thru Friday)  On-Call availability is required with this position.
