DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with technical teams, including Architects, DevSecOps, and Developers, creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, such as system overviews, architectural and data flow diagrams, AI/ML models, workflows, algorithms, release notes, configuration guides, and technical whitepapers.
Collect and combine technical information from multiple sources and compiling it into a single coherent flowing document.
Translate complex technical information into clear, accessible content for technical and non-technical audiences.
Review technical specifications and workflows to produce accurate, up-to-date documentation.
Create system diagrams, data flow diagrams, architecture diagrams, workflow charts, and other visual assets using tools such as Visio, Miro, or similar platforms.
Participate in system design meetings, sprint ceremonies, and stakeholder reviews to capture documentation and process requirements.
Support change management efforts by learning and analyzing new features, integrations, process changes, and/or system enhancements quickly, incorporating into documentation as needed.
Ensure documentation adheres to internal standards and Section 508 compliance. requirements, including correct structural tagging, alternative text, and accessible formatting.
Document business and technical processes, developing, updating, and streamlining SOPs to support consistent execution of system operations, deployment procedures, and data management workflows.
Capture and distributing meeting minutes, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and proper action tracking as needed.
Manage and tracking numerous, diverse, simultaneous efforts and have the ability to effectively prioritize requirements for multiple on-going projects in support of a large project team.
Maintain best practice knowledge of customer and corporate style guides, templates, and industry standards for writing and design of documents.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
5 + years of related experience
Proven experience in architecture and flow diagrams/visualizations and explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner for both technical and non-technical audiences through written process documentation, SOPs, user guides, and technical whitepapers.
Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and accessibility requirements in technical documentation.
Knowledge of Salesforce and AWS.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Visio.
Experience maintaining document configuration using tools such as SharePoint and Confluence.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be able to build, maintain, and strengthen strong relationships with the client and multiple or stakeholders. Skills required include: conflict resolution abilities, empathy, strategic problem solving, and active listening skills.
Experience translating and documenting system functionality in client/stakeholder deliverables.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability with personnel at varying levels using effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to handle constructive feedback and apply it to improve the quality of documentation.
Ability to work well as part of a team and as an individual contributor.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on clarity, usability, and accessibility.
Technical writing experience supporting Copado, Snowflake, AI/ML, and Tableau technologies.
Health Care Industry or Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) experience.
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), System Diagrams, Technical Specifications, Technical Writing.
Skills:
At least 5 years of experience writing high quality technical documents using Active Voice for Salesforce and Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies at an enterprise level.
Education:
Bachelor's degree
Citizenship:
Must be a US Citizen and have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
Clearance:
Willing and able to obtain a CMS Public Trust clearance (T4).
Salary:
The likely salary range is up to $88K. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
